Quick Cloud enables you to efficiently and elegantly deploy VDB volume clouds into any environment within Unreal Engine 5.3 and beyond. It accelerates the process of shaping clouds, mountain fog, and filling environments, while also featuring 15 high-quality cinematic-grade VDB clouds and mists, including cumulus, stratus, cumulonimbus, mountain fog, and more. Moreover, it continuously updates with additional high-quality VDB assets to address all your cloud-related needs.
Quick Cloud supports Lumen and Path Tracing, and is optimized for them.
Designed to resolve cloud and mist challenges in cinematic-grade scenes, Quick Cloud allows you to sculpt the basic appearance of VDB volume clouds using parameters such as Scattering Color, Scattering Intensity, Density, Extinction, and Detail Shadow. Additionally, you can seamlessly integrate clouds into any environment using Ambient Light Mixing.
The current version includes meticulously crafted starter scene "L_Start," along with two exquisite example scenes, "L_Example_1" & "L_Example_2," serving as the foundation for your grand projects!
Update log
V 1.1
Supported Development Platforms:
Windows: Yes
Documentation: In preparation, coming soon!
Important/Additional Notes: Quick Cloud only supports Unreal Engine 5.3 and above. The "L_Start" level is optimized specifically for Quick Cloud. We recommend increasing the "Volumetric Scattering Intensity" of the "DirectionalLight" in your own level for better results!
The current version does not support dynamic VDB. We will add support for dynamic (sequenced) VDB in the upcoming versions.
